The cattle section has always been a highlight and a crowd favourite, drawing farmers, breeders and spectators alike. We take immense pleasure in hosting classes for various breeds, pedigree and commercial.  The rings are a hive of activity as handlers skillfully parade their cattle in front of the expert judges. This is a great chance for farmers to showcase their stock and display their proud work. Furthermore, we are immensely grateful to once again hold the Connaught Simmental Finals, a testament to the continuous support and participation of the cattle community.

Following it's success in 2024 Ballinrobe Agricultural Show are once again hosting the 'Ireland West Championship' in 2025.  This class is for a Cross-bred Heifer at any age, judged on her potential to produce a top-quality calf. There is a massive prize fund of €650.
